A Chartered Surveyor has a professional surveying qualification from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Becoming a chartered surveyor is potentially one of the most exciting professions around.

As part of the continuing development of the business Vail Williams offer a graduate recruitment programme in the areas of:

- Planning (RTPI)
Recruitment Programme
Vail Williams recruit graduates on an annual basis who are:

The selection process takes the form of two stages. An initial interview assesses the candidate’s experience and background, followed by a second interview. At this stage each candidate is required to present and showcase their skills.

Training programme
Vail Williams renowned structured Graduate Training Programme offers full support in studying towards the APC and providing candidates with full chartered membership of the RICS. The training programme incorporates:
- Payment of fees
- Structured Training Agreement, supported by 3 monthly and 6 monthly meetings with an allocated Supervisor and Counsellor
- Rotation within the business to gain experience in all assigned competencies
- In house training
- External training, currently at Kingston University
