Maximising Potential and Value
With surplus land to dispose of, Surrey Primary Care Trust appointed Vail Williams to advise and assemble a project team to achieve planning permission and maximise the returns for re-investment in health services. Complying with NHS Estate Code guidelines for land disposal whilst managing the demands and expectations of the local authority and other interested parties, including residents’ associations, presented a particularly challenging brief.
Our exceptional knowledge and experience of the planning system resulted in outline planning for a residential scheme the increased the site value significantly.
Attempts by the developer to gain permission for amended plans with an increased number of residential units failed – demonstrating our success in achieving maximum potential for the site.
