Vail Williams, leading real estate advisers has recently sold Unit 16, East Links, on the Tollgate Business Park in Eastleigh on behalf Portland, the South’s leading business recovery practice which is handling the administration of former tenant, Optical Networks Limited.
The modern purpose built office building was sold to local Surveying Practice Rund Partnership. The long leasehold on this three-storey office building, which comprises a total floor area of around 2,772 sq ft, with nine car parking spaces was sold for £425,000.
Portland administrator, James Tickell comments, “I am relieved to have got this property sold following extended negotiations with a purchaser, which became convoluted with four different pension funds providing the funding. Nella Pang of Vail Williams’ Southampton office said “We are delighted to have sold yet another unit on Tollgate Business Park, Eastleigh. This is the third unit on this 21-unit scheme that we have sold in recent years, having previously sold Unit 15 East Links to Regional Care Services Limited and Unit 5 West Links Dempster Binning solicitors. We also let Unit 18 East Links to Fusion People on a 10 year lease.”
