Reading, 29 May 2008 – Leading real estate adviser, Vail Williams LLP, has successfully completed the first major letting at the pioneering Millars Brook development in Wokingham on behalf of Business Homes.
BYTE Mobile which provides mobile internet software and services for operators of commercial data networks, has taken a 5-year lease on a 2,648 sq ft unit at the new development, making this the first major letting on the larger development of approximately 40,000 sq ft.
BYTE Mobile will benefit from state of the art telecoms services, which have been incorporated into all of the units available at Millars Brook, a high quality self contained development, featuring raised floors, air cooling and on-site parking, situated in close proximity to Wokingham and just over five miles from Reading.
Charlie Nicholson from the Vail Williams Thames Valley office comments, “The price secured on this deal is a record for the Wokingham Market in the current cycle, and demonstrates that Grade A office space is still very much in demand from occupiers, despite today’s tight market conditions.”
