Steve has over 25 years’ experience in blue chip facilities management across the public and private sector, specialising in prime City real estate.
His extensive experience covers office space for the banking sector, commercial office space and key areas such as facilities and property asset management, service charge modelling and negotiation and office relocation and refurbishment.
Steve’s early career was spent with Barclays plc and included significant projects such as relocating the head office and managing the new site. The site also operated a wholly outsourced service delivery model – one of the first anywhere in the UK for a major company.
His skills and experience have allowed him to develop a strong client base including Akzo Nobel, Savills, Eurex, London and Continental Railways, KPMG and the London Borough of Ealing.
Notable achievements include the management of Cannon Bridge for Savills where he achieved significant service improvements while at the same time reducing service charges by £1 million within 12 months. Ian also successfully relocated 3,600 staff and concurrent office refurbishment across KPMG’s London offices.
Steve’s varied hobbies include music production, graphic and web design and interior décor. He has also been an extra in several TV shows and films, a judge on the BAFTA award winning ‘Faking It’, and a contestant on The Weakest Link.
