Here are some of the ways your company could be considered the Best Place to Work 2009:
• Creative use of space, fitting to your working style.
• Innovative working environment
• Wide-ranging staff facilities
• An open, inclusive work culture
• Strong environmental policies.
There are many more ways in which your company might be considered the Best Place to Work.
Entries will be accepted until September 30, 2009. Finalist companies will be invited to the gala awards night in Reading on November 19, when the winner, second and third places will be announced.
The winner will receive a prestigious trophy for their reception or boardroom. It will also be featured in The Business Magazine and enjoy wide-ranging media and PR opportunities.
Awards chairman David Murray said: We are delighted to welcome Vail Williams to our group of sponsors, and to launch this new category. Vail Williams has a strong reputation for it’s expertise, and is a leading real estate adviser with offices across the south, so it couldn’t be better placed to support this category.
“For this award, we are looking for the workplaces that stand out as being really different. They might be creative businesses or established factories – but the key ingredient will be the way the management and staff work together to make the organisation a great place to be.
The Best Place to Work award is one of five categories in this year’s TVBMA. Others are:
• Thames Valley Business of the Year, sponsored by Pitmans solicitors
• Dynamic Business Award, sponsored by Deloitte
• SME of the Year Award
• Business Management Team Award, sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland.
