Bill has over 30 years' experience in all aspects of the property planning system, but specialises in the negotiation of difficult planning applications.
He is involved with all aspects of the property planning appeal system, regularly giving evidence at Hearings and Public Inquiries and at Examinations in Public.
Having begun his career in the agricultural side of surveying, Bill worked in Africa for a number of years.
He held a variety of positions at Robert Shaw and Partners before becoming Managing Partner, and has held a number of senior positions within the sector. He was also previously partner and Head of the Planning Consultancy division within Vail Williams.
Bill has chaired the Guildford Business Forum Property and Transport Group and the Economic Development Group of the Waverley Business Forum. He is a Trustee and Chairs the Board of Management of Farnham Maltings.
In his leisure time, Bill enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.
