Daniel is a partner with nearly 20 years’ experience specialising in the valuation of commercial property.

He joined Vail Williams in 2021 from JLL, where he was responsible for sourcing and managing valuation assignments for investors, property companies and banks, including RBS, Santander, Lloyds and Barclays.

Daniel is experienced in providing valuation advice across all main commercial sectors, including offices, retail and industrial, as well as mixed-use portfolios, land and developments.  Over the last five years, he has specialised in the business space (office and industrial) sectors.

Most recently, Daniel was responsible for a 12-strong portfolio valuation team as client lead for a number of property companies, fund and institutional clients including Kingsbridge Estates, Aberdeen Standard, M&G and CBRE Global Investors. He has also been instructed by a large UK REIT on behalf of a syndicate of banks, to value 59 industrial assets, and co-ordinated the project and team a team of valuers across the UK.

Daniel takes pride in providing timely and accurate valuation reporting and is experienced in delivering property market presentations to fund managers, building a strong relationship as their trusted advisor.

Outside work, Daniel enjoys a round of golf and turning out for his local village cricket team, hiking / family walks (also known as dragging two children across muddy fields!) and is currently gearing up to run the London Marathon on behalf of Crisis in October 2021.
