Waseem Riaz

Waseem joined Vail Williams as an Associate in the Building Consultancy team in 2026, bringing with him experience across the residential, commercial and industrial property sectors.

Based in the firm’s London office, Waseem provides technical building surveying, project management and professional consultancy services to public and private sector clients throughout London and the wider South East.

His project management experience includes the refurbishment of multi-occupancy residential buildings, as well as external maintenance and improvement projects for high-end residential and commercial properties.

He supports clients throughout the project lifecycle, from preparing specifications and appointing contractors to contract administration and completion.

Waseem also advises property owners, occupiers and investors on a range of professional building consultancy matters.

His work includes pre-acquisition building surveys and technical property due diligence, planned maintenance schedules, dilapidations, party wall matters, reinstatement cost assessments and licences for alterations. He also has experience advising both corporate clients with property portfolios and private individuals.

Outside work, Waseem enjoys going to the gym and travelling, particularly visiting new places and experiencing different cultures.
