Becca Houghton – Apprentice Building Surveyor
I am currently undertaking a level 6 degree apprenticeship to gain my bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying. I have been with Vail Williams for three years and have developed my skills in Schedule of Conditions, Project Management and drawing plans on AutoCad. I am passionate about getting the younger generation into the property and construction industry and have attended school events to promote the profession and apprenticeships. Outside of work, I train and play for my local women’s football team, Rotherfield United.

James Little – Senior Surveyor
I am a Chartered Surveyor within the expanding Thames Valley Valuation team. I recently joined Vail Williams having previously completed a five-year apprenticeship scheme with the Valuation Office Agency, gaining experience in both valuation and business rates. My valuation experience spans both commercial and residential, carrying out reports for secured lending, accounts and asset management purposes. Outside of work, I spend most of my free time competing for Reading Rowing Club in their senior men’s squad.

Arabella Macrae – Surveyor
A relatively new recruit to Vail Williams, I sit within the agency team and am involved with both acquisitions and disposals. With a less traditional background including psychology, research and marketing, I bring a different skill set to the agency team. Away from the office, I am dog obsessed. David Barden – Partner Lease Advisory
I head up the Thames Valley Lease Advisory team based in Reading.I have been with Vail Williams since 2004 and specialise in advice on rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructures. I also act as an expert witness in disputed matters. When not preoccupied by my french wife and 2 boys, my past time includes cycling, football and running.

Jas Lall – Property Asset Manager
I am a surveyor within the Property Asset Management discipline at Vail Williams. I work with a number of private investors, investment funds and councils on large portfolios of mixed asset classes. My experience includes asset management, rent reviews, lease renewals and identifying value add opportunities. Outside of work, I enjoy baking and taking long walks with my dogs.

Dan Reynaldo – Senior Building Surveyor
After graduating from Reading University in 2016, I joined Vail Williams and have now been with the firm for just over 6 years. I carry out a wide range of building surveying services for clients of all sizes. Recently, I have begun to work closely with banks and lenders as their development/monitoring surveyor and assist landlords and tenants with dilapidations matters. Away from work, I am a keen cricketer and occasionally attempt to play golf!
