Property consultancy Vail Williams has scooped a prestigious award in the West Midlands Business Masters Awards
November 7, 2022
The Birmingham-based team was named Property Business of the Year in the awards organised by TheBusinessDesk.com, the fastest growing business media in the UK.

This award recognises the strength and importance of the property sector and goes to the business which has had a successful year and can show how its work has positively impacted on the regional economy.

Regional Managing Partner Carole Taylor said: “We are honoured and humbled to have won this award. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Vail Williams team in the West Midlands.

“All the big London firms are represented in Birmingham, so we have had to establish a unique offer to set us apart from our competitors to be able to recruit the best talent, as well as win clients.

“We have achieved this by focusing on our culture and values, creating a unique learning and development strategy, a health and wellbeing strategy, and really living their values as opposed to simply paying lip service to them.

“This has helped us to grow the team, and the property services offered from the West Midlands to meet the strategic needs of our clients.”

“We are honoured and humbled to have won this award. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Vail Williams team in the West Midlands.”

Vail Williams has changed a lot since it was first established in Birmingham at the height of the recession in 2008.

From a small team of six people turning over £200,000 a year in property management work, the firm has transformed to become a leading light in the West Midlands property market under Carole’s stewardship.

The team in Birmingham has tripled in size, transforming to a team of 16 people in 2022, turning over £2 million and acting for major clients, including National Express, Molson Coors and First Group – operators of Avanti West Coast.

Anna Cooper, assistant editor for the West Midlands at TheBusinessDesk.com said: “Congratulations to Vail Williams for the well-deserved win in our Property Business of the Year category.

“In a very tough year for West Midlands businesses, all our shortlisted and winning companies tonight should be extremely proud.

“There is a plethora of talent across the region and it was great to celebrate with so many innovative companies tonight. I’d like to thank our sponsors and every nominated business for their support this year.”
