––Calum joined Vail Williams in 2022 as a Building Surveyor from Summers Inman where he spent six years.
Based in our Building Consultancy team in Woking, Calum brings with him practical experience of Building Surveying including dilapidations, Schedules of Condition and Independent Monitoring Surveys, as well as Stock Condition Surveys, having completed over 2,000 of the latter for Ministry of Defence owned dwellings.
He will also support our Building Consultancy team in London and is experienced in  a variety of government, commercial and residential properties, and has completed Planned Preventative Maintenance reports on over 200 dwellings owned by Christchurch University (Oxford).
Calum is currently studying for his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
In his own time, Calum is a member of the GB Fencing team and is a Commonwealth Gold Medallist (Canberra 2018). He has competed at many weird and wonderful places across the world, including Qatar, Bulgaria, and Canada.
He also enjoys baking and infuses his own gin, although he claims to rarely drink any.
