The thriving industrial park has acquired He Man and Toolstation to its ever increasing list of businesses, leaving Centurion at near-full occupancy.
Southampton’s Centurion Park has added Toolstation and He Man to its line-up of businesses, leaving just two units remaining available to occupiers.
The company, a national leader in the supply of tools and building materials to trade and DIY customers, has completed a move to the 4,958 sq ft end-of-terrace Unit H at the site in Bitterne Road – becoming the latest in an influx of new occupiers at the site.
Alex Gauntlett Surveyor at Vail Williams said: “We were delighted to welcome Toolstation as the latest tenants to the park. This recent letting has shown the strength of the park, with it being a great location for businesses to expand and call home”.
He Man Dual Controls who were advised by Simon Martel of Warwick Martel, manufactures vehicle controls used by driving instructors.
They completed a move to the 9,891 sq ft Unit J at the site in Bitterne Road.
He-Man Dual Controls have been market leaders in the UK for many years and are now increasing their International business into Europe and North America.
Andy Appleby, Operations Director at He-Man “Centurion Park matched exactly what we were looking for, it provides us with a prominent unit with space to grow on a well-managed estate that benefits from great access and being located on the outskirts of the city centre.
“The He-Man brand is going from strength to strength, both in the UK and around the World; we can be proud to invite our Customers to a property that has an image well suited to the company’s status”.
Vail Williams and Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), joint agents for the park, are reporting significant levels of interest in the last two remaining units – Unit B, which offers 10,097 of ground floor space, and Unit C, at 10,072 sq ft. Units B and C both have associated ground and first floor offices, ample parking and loading areas suitable for articulated lorries.
Centurion Park is well located, approximately a mile and a half from Southampton’s Western Docks and Container Port, with Southampton City Centre approximately a mile to the west and connections to the M3 around four miles to the north. Bitterne Road West connects to Junction 7 of the M27.
