Vail Williams was appointed by Surrey County Council as a Framework adviser to secure planning permission for two new salt barns at its Merrow and Godstone highways depots.
The modern, circular salt barns were new structures to be built at each depot where gritting services already existed, enhancing Surrey County Council’s capabilities, whilst improving highways safety.
We appreciated the technical planning expertise that Vail Williams brought to this unique project. Bringing together a fantastic team of technical experts, they made sure to address potential concerns throughout the planning process, communicating clearly with us throughout, to enable us to deliver significant local infrastructure improvements.”
