Property consultancy Vail Williams has underlined its commitment to Southampton with a lease renewal and refurbishment project at its office in Ocean Village.
The commitment and investment at Savannah House continues the firm’s continuous presence in the port city since the 1980s.
Russell Miller, Vail Williams’ Regional Managing Partner for the South Coast region, said: “There are nearly 8,000 businesses in Southampton, many of them with real estate requirements that we have been advising on over the past 35 years or so.
“Our commitment to this proud city, regarded as a gateway to the world for containers, cruise liners and car shipments, remains as strong as ever, which is why we have signed a new lease extension to 2030 on the office and invested a substantial figure in refurbishing the office to the highest of standards for staff and clients.”
Vibe, a commercial interior design consultancy, carried out the office makeover, with 26 brand new workstations, three additional meeting/private study rooms and a fantastic new collaboration space.
Vail Williams manages Savannah House for the building’s landlord, Poole-based Forelle Estates. Other occupiers on the other two floors are fellow professional services firms PwC and CBRE.
Two new appointments work from there as well – David Podesta, who joined as an associate focusing on property development consultancy, and Lucy Clifford Bowles, a senior surveyor with the building consultancy team.
Vail Williams has two other offices on the South Coast – one at Lakeside North Harbour business campus in Portsmouth, where a new five-year lease was signed last year, and in Bournemouth, at Everdene House, Wessex Fields, opposite the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
