Ringing in workplace changes with Telephone House

Global tech skills acquisition firm, Caspian One, are the latest company to move into Telephone House as they expand.

A global tech-skills acquisition firm operating within the financial and broadcast media technology markets has secured a prominent office building in Bournemouth, Dorset.

In a transaction through property consultancy Vail Williams, Caspian One leased a 7,262 sq ft HQ office suite on the second floor of five-storey Telephone House, Christchurch Road.

Vail Williams acquired the modern workspace on behalf of Caspian One as part of the company’s strategic growth initiatives driven by increased market demand for services; Goadsby acted on behalf of the private landlord.

Caspian One is internationally renowned for delivering complex technology projects, alongside its capabilities to access niche subject-matter experts.

The firm, which saw a £23.7m turnover ending March 2022, vacates Waverley House in nearby Holdenhurst Road, Lansdowne, which has outline planning consent to be redeveloped.

Bryony Solan, an associate at Vail Williams, said: “We were tasked with finding high-quality workspace for Caspian One in the Lansdowne area of Bournemouth.

“Caspian One have joined many other occupiers in what we call the ‘flight-to-quality’ as they recognised the importance of providing a high-quality working environment for their employees, which led them to leasing an office over double the size of their existing office.

“Telephone House fitted the client’s requirements, with included car parking spaces, transport connectivity, a convenient location close to the town and beach and air conditioning.”

FinTech clients of Caspian One span the traditional capital markets, financial institutions and investment banks, information providers, hedge/proprietary funds, retail banks and frontier tech startups.

On the broadcast media and entertainment front, Caspian One is a skills acquisition partner for broadcasters and service providers to vendors, system integrators, telecommunication operators, content owners and manufacturers.

Occupiers at Telephone House include 3 Sided Cube, Hi Media, YourSpace, Onefeed, Aria Resorts, Holborn Assets, Reed Recruitment, Adecco, Office Angels and Nova Systems.
