The great and good of the Surrey region’s business professionals came together at our Spring drinks reception in Woking last night (16 May).
Hosted by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) at the Living Planet Centre, one of the greenest buildings in the UK, we took the opportunity to celebrate our expansion in Surrey, with more than 70 of our clients and contacts.
Guests enjoyed a selection of wines and canapés, and heard from Regional Managing Partner for Surrey, Geoff Fallon, about our ambitions in the region, where we have been a well-known figure in the property sector for a number of years now.
Also speaking at the event was Amy Kobelis, Marketing Manager for the WWF. Amy explained to guests the story of the Living Planet Centre’s evolution, from its original vision and funding by the Rufford Foundation, to its current status as an award-winning eco-building.
Addressing attendees, Geoff Fallon, commented: “Vail Williams has been part of the thriving business community in Surrey for over 30 years, the last 15 of which from our former offices in Guildford.
“We have some fantastic clients in the region and our vision is to bring together a strong multidisciplinary team which will enable us to offer clients even better service from one focal point within the heart of Surrey.”
“Surrey has such a diverse and thriving property market and we’re excited to explore this further through our involvement in both residential and commercial property projects here.”
Kevin Cook, Executive Partner at Vail Williams, concluded the event: “There’s a great deal to be positive about in Surrey as a wide range of infrastructure projects start to come through, with far-reaching economic effects.
“These will bring both positive economic benefit for our clients, as well as some challenges and we are looking forward to being able to help them make the most of the opportunities that abound here, over the coming months and years.”
