We’re bowled over by our newest recruit, Daniel Reynaldo

October 6, 2016

Daniel Reynaldo has joined Vail Williams as a Graduate Building Surveyor in our building consultancy team.

Based at our Thames Valley office, we’re no stranger to Daniel, who completed work experience with us in 2014.

We’re delighted to have him back in the team, which provides commercial property consultancy services, following his qualification from University.

He knows how to go beyond the boundaries, not only in his work, but also his cricket too, having ventured across the globe with the England Physical Disability Cricket team.

We spoke to Daniel to find out more about what he hopes to achieve in his new role with us.

Where are you joining Vail Williams from?
I joined straight from University where I studied Building Surveying.

What attracted you to your new post at Vail Williams?
Having completed work experience in the summer of 2014, followed by a 2-month summer placement during the summer of 2015 whilst in my second year of University, when the option of joining Vail Williams as a Graduate arose I jumped at the opportunity.

What are your ambitions in the role?
To gain the relevant experience and associated skills to go towards my APC.

What was your first ever job?
My first ever job was working for a well-known car parts and bike retail company (Halfords) in the cycle department, building bikes.

If you had to recommend a good book, what would it be, and why?
Legacy by James Kerr – Based on the All Blacks, it explores the key to their success and how this can be adopted for everyday life and business.

Tell us a surprising fact about yourself

Alongside the Vail Williams cricket team, I currently play for Hartley Wintney Cricket Club, Hampshire Disability Cricket and the England Physical Disability Cricket team, with whom I have toured to Dubai and Bangladesh.
