Vail Williams was appointed by a high-net-worth private individual seeking to acquire an exclusive premises in the Chelsea / Kensington area of London.

The 5,300 sq ft semi-detached house had five bedrooms and we were appointed to undertake a pre-acquisition survey for the buyer and liaise on various contractual matters with the seller.

How we helped
  • Undertook pre-acquisition survey to identify any issues of concern with the building ahead of the purchase.
  • Liaised with seller regarding purchaser concerns over insurance on an extended completion date and furnishings.
  • Acted as a conduit between the seller and our client’s solicitors to ensure a smooth process and avoid the potential for misunderstanding.
  • Undertook a review of existing Party Wall Awards bringing potential issues to the client’s attention.

  • Our client successfully purchased the property for £13 million.
