Vail Williams was appointed by Surrey County Council as a Framework adviser to secure planning permission for a new children’s home as part of a £5.5m rebuilding programme implemented by the Council.
The new home was designed to be a family-sized unit which would accommodate a maximum of four residents aged 12-17, along with two staff bedrooms and living facilities.
We are pleased to have worked with Vail Williams’ expert planning team to support us with achieving planning permission for new children’s homes in Surrey. Establishing new children’s homes allows us to address a national shortage and ensure looked after children in Surrey can stay close to their schools, friends, and family.”
