Vail Williams Partner joins expert line-up for special 2016 business preview event

February 1, 2016

Vail Williams Partner Carole Taylor was among the expert line-up at a special 2016 preview event in Birmingham looking at what the year holds for business in the Midlands.

Carole, who has over 25 years’ experience in the Midlands market and works from the city’s office of commercial property specialist Vail Williams, added her thoughts to The Year Ahead breakfast, organised by national business magazine Insider.

She was on a panel of prominent figures from across the region analyzing the potential opportunities and hazards at Deloitte’s Brindleyplace office on January 28th, from 7:30am.

Carole said: “The start of the year is a good time to take stock and assess how the land lies for the next 12 months. I was very glad to bring Vail Williams’ commercial property perspective to a variety of important topics.

“In the field of commercial property we always advise our clients to plan ahead. It means we can find the best deals, use our knowledge to adapt to the shifting market, and turn their property activities into strong business assets.”

Alongside Carole assessing the prospects for the EU, the stock market, property, retail, the economy and skills were Michaela Moore, general manager of the Bullring; Chris Rawstron, partner and head of corporate finance at Irwin Mitchell; Verity Stokes of Katie Bard; Neena Gill, MEP of the EU Committee Economic and Monetary Affairs; John Bryson, professor of enterprise and competiveness at Birmingham Business School; and Mark Fahy, head of UK small and mid-cap companies at LSC.
