We were appointed by one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of plastic injected building products, to assist them in relocating to larger premises.
Over time, our client’s business had evolved to operate from multiple buildings, creating inefficiencies of scale.

Working closely with the client to understand their future needs, we provided strategic property advice from inception to completion, resulting in the design and build of a bespoke 88,000 sq ft industrial unit.

This was a complex, long-term strategic project which evolved with the changing needs of the business.

How we helped
  • Provided initial lease advisory expertise to bring in line the renewal dates for each of our client’s leases, enabling us to implement exit strategies for their existing premises.
  • Undertook a space budget to establish our client’s needs, to inform site search for new premises.
  • Extensive search for appropriate properties revealed none to meeting their needs
  • Expanded our search out to land for a potential new build opportunity.
  • Located several suitable sites, analysed options and costs, then selected the best solution.
  • Working closely with the developer, negotiated and put in place a development agreement, lease, designs and technical specifications for the new category A manufacturing and warehouse facility.

  • Delivered a turn-key solution in 32 weeks – from project brief to site acquisition, fit out management and project management of the phased move to the premises.
