Challenge

Vail Williams has been involved with Hounsdown House for several years. Having supported the previous owner with a Terminal Schedule of Dilapidations for an outgoing tenant and implementation of vacant insurance requirements, we disposed of the asset which was acquired by our current client.

Following refurbishment, Fastpark Holdings retained us to secure an occupier for one wing of building on the ground and first floor, and we now manage the building on an ongoing basis on their behalf.

How we helped
  • Initially provided building consultancy, asset management and disposal advice to former owner.
  • Appointed by new owner to market part of the ground and first floor, including a 3,505 sq ft suite.
  • Promoted the building’s strategic location, recent refurbishment and Grade A quality, alongside ESG credentials including LED lighting.
  • Secured interest from several parties, shortlisted potential occupiers, negotiated lease terms to the landlord’s advantage.
  • Property asset management team produced a Service Charge Budget which was agreed.

Vail Williams’ knowledge of the regional office market in the South Coast made them the natural choice to market the available space at our newly acquired building, Hounsdown House, where we are resident. Not only did the agency team secure significant interest in the newly refurbished space, we are delighted to retain them to manage the building on our behalf.
