David Grove
Associate
ValuationOxford
––David joined Vail Williams in 2026 as a valuation associate in Oxford, bringing with him nearly 30 years’ experience in commercial property.
Having begun his career in general practice surveying in 1997, David became Chartered in 2000 and has since developed extensive expertise across the property lifecycle.
His experience spans commercial valuation advice, commercial agency, property management, and lease advisory work, enabling him to provide well-rounded, pragmatic advice to lenders, investors, landlords, occupiers, and professional advisers.
In his current role at Vail Williams, David is responsible for undertaking valuation work for secured lending and other purposes, supporting clients with accurate, market-focused advice across commercial, residential and retail property assets. His strong understanding of local and regional markets makes him a trusted adviser within the Oxfordshire property landscape.
Outside of work, David enjoys both playing and watching sport, including cricket, football, golf and skiing. Cricket has been a lifelong passion and he continues to play for his local team, having done so since the age of 12.
While football is now off the agenda due to a knee injury, and an understandable reluctance to early Sunday mornings, David also enjoys trips to the cinema, dining out, and spending time socialising with friends and family.
