Derek Moore

Derek joined Vail Williams in 2020 having previously worked for Gerald Eve, Altus Group and Savills.

He has over 25 years’ experience in the property industry and provides advice on all aspects of business rate mitigation, with expertise in the industrial, office and leisure sectors across the south east of England.

He is a key client manager and regularly provides empty rate advice and estimate of Rateable Value (RV) for both developers and corporate occupiers.

Derek is also experienced in coordinating negotiations with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), most notably on behalf golf courses and car showrooms. He has also represented numerous pub and hotel operators resulting in substantial business rate savings.

Current key clients include Kia Motors, Independent Builders Merchants Ltd and West London Waste Authority.

In his spare time, Derek is a keen golfer, road cyclist and walker.
