Matt King

Matt joined Vail Williams in 2021 in the Gatwick team working closely with the agency team.

Now, Matt is a Surveyor and started his degree apprenticeship through the University for the Built Environment (previously known as University College of Estate Management) in 2024, with a view to becoming chartered in the next couple of years. He will cover a variety of disciplines in his rotations including Business Rates, Valuation and Lease Advisory.

He is responsible for conducting site inspections predominantly across the South East as well as compiling reports and comparable searches for offices, industrial units, retail properties and more.

Having entered the property profession via the retail sector where Matt spent many years as a branch manager for an outdoor clothing & equipment brand, Matt brings with him invaluable consumer facing experience which helps him to deliver true excellence of service to both current and potential clients.

He has brought his enthusiasm for helping others to Vail Williams, taking a keen interest internally in organising local charity events, coordinating stands at corporate functions and working closely with the IT department with their tech rollouts across the firm.

In his own time, Matt enjoys being outdoors and you will likely see him at various cycling events, whether charity-based or professional networking. He also enjoys cooking and a variety of other activities.
