Shane O'Reilly

Shane joined Vail Williams in 2025 as an Associate in the Property Asset Management team, where key clients include acting for Wokingham and Woking Borough Council portfolios.

He has considerable experience in dealing with all property asset and client types, from large institutional portfolios and diverse mixed-use portfolios, to single high value properties managed for private clients.

Shane adopts bespoke reporting requirements to meet individual client needs, and is experienced in dealing with and co-ordinating the adoption of new client instructions and properties, as well as integrating new portfolios into existing mandates.

He is also adept at pre-acquisition due diligence, and has experience of dealing with numerous  multi let and single let property acquisitions across various sectors and lot sizes , many of which were then incorporated into his portfolio post-completion.

Throughout his career he has acted on several major projects, including:

• Numerous pre-sale CPSEs and additional enquiries to achieve successful, smooth disposals . ​
• Implementing  property strategies including accurate service charge budgets, taking into account the client’s strategy, voids, caps and planned project works, to manage expenditure throughout and ensure that KPIs were met.
• Working with landlords’ teams to successfully manage the completion of various projects in occupied multi-let buildings, meeting both client and occupiers’ needs.

Prior to joining Vail Williams Shane had worked at both Colliers and JLL where work included acting on portfolios for AXA, Columbia Threadneedle, The Crown Estate, Frogmore, Moorfield and Ropemaker Properties.

Away from the office, Shane enjoys general fitness and has a keen interest in geopolitics.
